ABOUT DOMINIC
Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Dominic Pompo began his legal career by attending the University at Buffalo School of Law starting in 2012. As an inaugural member of the Pro Bono Scholars Program, Dominic Pompo was able to take and pass the New York State Bar Examination before he graduated from law school in the Spring of 2015. He was admitted to the practice of law in June of 2015. He immediately began working for Andrews, Bernstein, Maranto, and Nicotra, PLLC, a personal injury law firm in Buffalo, New York. He litigated personal injury cases and assisted injured clients in obtaining the maximum possible settlements from various insurance companies.
From there, he worked as an in-house attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for the next five years, giving him valuable insight into how large insurance companies handle personal injury claims. During his time at Liberty Mutual, he assisted senior trial attorneys in the litigation of complex, high-value personal injury cases. He later became a litigation attorney responsible for handling personal and commercial claims throughout Upstate New York. Following his time at Liberty Mutual, he worked as a solo practitioner and litigated primarily criminal matters from 2021 through 2023.
Since then, Dominic joined Catalano Law in the Fall of 2023 as a personal injury attorney, where he employs his eight years of litigation experience to achieve the best possible results for our clients.
